Education

In Mādhya Way’s approach to Integrative Ayurveda, we learn the traditional foundations of Ayurveda from classical texts and apply this knowledge in a manner best suited to contemporary life. Some key principles of our Integrative Ayurveda philosophy include understanding trauma, using local and sustainable herbs, honoring social justice, making Ayurveda accessible, incorporating Yoga and Buddhist teachings, and rooting Ayurvedic teachings in compassion for self and others.

Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor

Mādhya Way’s Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor training offers a trauma-informed, integrative approach to Ayurveda, focusing on traditional study while incorporating western herbalism, meditation, yoga and self-compassion practices. We have put together an extraordinary team of experts in each of these disciplines to guide students deep into the work, creating opportunities for self-exploration and affording a holistic approach to learning.

Full Program vs. Individual Courses

To become an Integrative Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, you must complete all three courses that Mādhya Way offers, which altogether constitute a 15-month, 600-hour program — the Foundations of Ayurveda course, the Integrative Ayurvedic Rituals & Routines Course, and the Building An Ayurvedic Business course. However, you may also elect to take any one of these courses on an individual basis, at any time.
